Surgical procedure

On the obvious side of the swelling, parallel transverse incision is made from the lower edge of the mandible, and the skin, subcutaneous tissue, superficial fascia, and platysma can be incision, and the submandibular space outside the mandibular ligament can be reached. There is pus, that is, drainage. If the abscess is in the sublingual space, the mandibular lingual muscle is cut open. After the abscess is cut, the vascular clamp is used to extend into the abscess, and the drainage is dilated, and the pus is sucked up by the suction device and the rubber drainage strip is placed.
